Caryn Anatriello is an experienced non-profit executive with over 20 years of leadership in patient advocacy, support, and program development. She has a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives that improve outcomes for vulnerable populations, particularly those impacted by rare diseases and chronic illnesses. As the Manager of Advocacy & Support at the National Scleroderma Foundation, Caryn successfully led national advocacy efforts, including lobbying for research funding and expanding support services. She developed diverse support groups and peer mentorship programs, ensuring patients and caregivers receive personalized care and resources.
Caryn's experience also includes impactful roles such as Director of Family Outreach & Support at the Children’s Cardiomyopathy Foundation, where she led initiatives to engage families and medical professionals, raising significant funding and expanding patient education programs. She is a Child Life Specialist with expertise in creating developmentally appropriate resources and support systems for children facing medical challenges.
Throughout her career, Caryn has demonstrated exceptional skills in project management, event planning, and relationship building, while advocating for underrepresented groups. Her educational background in Psychology and Child Life from Utica University equips her with a solid foundation for advocating for patient-centered care across diverse platforms and communities.
